Reaction on Article entitled Three Technologies to Watch

As technology evolves faster we can say that all invention involving technology is possible. The three technologies mentioned in an article were now present and many of us use it now. But we should also think that in every thing happen there were always be a bad effect. He only stated the advantages of that technology. This technology can help people to easy interact with the machine. This makes people a lazy one and dependent only on technology. This kinect thing can make people interact on the screen by just moving and waving their hands. In this case it can cause harm to our health. Many people just don't go out or having some outdoor sports to maintain their physical health instead they just stay on their rooms and having some games. People don’t have a proper workout that leads them to have a weak lifestyle.

            For the augmented reality it is somehow a great help to see things in real world. It is advantage for those people studies about the universe they can say the stars in the universe through the use of this technology. It can also help us to enhance the things we feel, see and smell. It is the breakthrough for the marketing, medicine and entertainment. But of course there were many people argue that it can separate the fiction from reality. Many said that it can also fracture the reality. Augmented reality could invade the privacy of an organization because anyone, including customers and competitors, could access all the published information about the business.

            Last is the Macbook Air like what I said this technology can help us in our daily transaction. It can make our life easy as before. We can easily search the information we want.  This technology is much expensive that only few people can afford.

As I read the article the author only discuss the advantages of these three technologies without knowing the harm that may bring these to the humankind. In every technology risen in our world there were will be always a bad effects that brings it in our life. It could be somehow a great help for us but we should also consider that we start our life here in the world without the help of this technology.  But we can’t stop the evolution of technology. We can’t deny the fact that we enjoy the life we have now than before. Things become easier because of these technologies. But we should also know the things that may harm our health. Be aware of what the technologies bring us. We should not only see the technologies advantages. We should weigh the effects of these technologies in our life. Be wise and be a critical thinker. !!!!!

       

Computer Literacy for Elementary School Children in the Philippines

        Literacy is the ability of being literate in some aspects such as in reading and writing. Knowledgeable and educated in a particular fields. As the technology evolve nowadays we can say that computer is one. As we all know computer is very useful for us people especially for the students.They can easily make their projects by just clicking on the search bar. In our generation as technology spread all over we should adopt this changes. Computer literacy among elementary school children should be well implemented for the children know the new way of learning. But the parents and teachers should be responsible in teaching the children on how to use the computer properly. The children learn faster and we should teach them well for them to use the computer as the source of their knowledge not for their own interest.

         Computer has an advantages and disadvantages. It could be disadvantages if we don't use it properly. For the children who are very curios  about all things they want to explore more that lead them to not properly use the computer. Instead of using it for getting some information and using it for educational purposes they use computer for games. There were many games installed in a computer that automatically can caught the mind of the children. For their extra time instead of using it for learning they just waste it for games. We can also deny it that computer have some many advantages.One is that we can easily find the information we need through the Internet. We are updated about what's happening.For the children it can help them to discover new things that can make them a better person as they grow up.
          Computer can be the ultimate tool for learning in Elementary School children if the parents and   teachers know how to guide and make them understand the effects of computer if they abusively use it. It is not bad to let their children to play but they should monitor them. Too much exposure is bad. Parents should be vigilant in guiding their children in using the computer. Computer can be our enemy if we don't know how to use it properly.
